CANDLE VERTICAL FITER- HBT:<\/h1>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The Hollbras Candle Filter (HBT) is a Hermetic Back-Cleaning Candle Filter that provides versatile thin-cake batch pressure filtration solutions for applications ranging from clarification to final liquid polishment. This filter utilizes several cylindrical filter elements (candles) lined with filtration weaves made from media such as woven polypropylene, PTFE, Nylon, and Polyester. Our HBT filters are designed for high liquid flow and low-pressure drop, with removal ratings down to 0.5 microns or less.<\/span><\/p>\n

As filter cake builds up on the candles during a filtration cycle, the removal efficiency further improves beyond the nominal ratings of the filter media itself, as the cake will start acting as a filtration element itself. Filter aid can also be used as a precoat or body feed to aid difficult filtrations. Depending on the process requirements, the HBT back-flushing filter discharges retained solids by backwashing, either with a gas or liquid medium.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hollbras Candle filters HBT system are available in a range of sizes from 0.6 m2<\/sup> to 100 m2<\/sup> of filtration area, and are manufactured in accordance with ASME and NR13 standards. They are well-suited to handle liquids with low solids, ranging from 5% down to PPM levels. The pressure vessels can be constructed of stainless steel or alloy materials. The filtration elements are available with various chemical-resistant linings and coatings such as EPDM, PTFE, and others. <\/span><\/p>\n
