Industrial filters are equipment used to retain insoluble solids and guarantee the quality of various products. They are widely used in the food, mining, and chemical industries. Industrial filters can be of various types, such as leave filters, candle filters, bag filters, vacuum filters, and press filters among others. Filters must be chosen according to the specific needs of each production process. At Hollbras we manufacture filters that have two types of filter elements: leaves with wire mesh or candles coated with filter fabric.

The HBV Vertical Pressure Leaf Filter consists of a series of leaves assembled inside a vertical vessel operating under pressure. It is an efficient and economical option for many industrial filtration processes, as it takes up little physical space and can be 100% automated.
The vessels of our HBV filters can be made of carbon steel or stainless steel, and the Filtration Leaves are made of a stainless-steel frame and wire mesh. HBV filters can offer a filtration area from 1 m2 to 125 m2.
The HBH Horizontal Pressure Leaf Filter has a series of Filtration Leaves assembled inside a horizontal vessel operating under pressure. This type of filter is recommended for processes where there is a need to access the retained solid, such as solids that are more difficult to discharge. This filter model is also recommended for processes that require filtration areas larger than 125m2.
Our HBH filters have a horizontal cylindrical vessel that can be made of carbon steel or stainless steel, and the Filtration Leaves frames and wire mesh are made of stainless steel. Hollbras offers HBH filters with filtration areas ranging from 5 m2 to 250 m2.
The HBT Vertical Pressure Candle Filter contains filtration candles made of wire mesh and encapsulated with filtration cloth. Those filtration candles are assembled vertically inside the vessel. Our HBT filters can be used as a polishing filter or as a main filter. They are generally indicated for processes with a low volume of solids to be retained. The filtration cloth used to cover candle is weaved with different materials and openings (microns), thus adapting to the needs of each process. Our HBT filters can be built with a filtration area ranging from 0.6 m2 to 100 m2. These filters can be completely automated, increasing the productivity and safety of the operation.

Hollbras offers individual Filtration Leaves, which are custom-made and can be used in Hollbras filters or in equipment from other manufacturers. Hollbras Filtration Leaves are made of stainless steel. Each plate contains five layers - three internal meshes to provide structural support and two external meshes for filtration. The materials used to make the filtration leaves are selected according to the application for which they are intended. Hollbras also refurbishes damaged filtration leaves, using a process that guarantees the return to their original quality.
