VERTICAL LEAF FILTER - HBV:

The HBV Vertical Pressure Leaf Filter is designed to retain solids present in liquids. It is an extremely versatile and economical piece of equipment, made up of a vertical pressure vessel with a cover that can be easily opened by eye bolts and a davit system with a hydraulic jack. It works with Filtration Leaves arranged vertically inside the equipment. The liquid to be filtered is pushed into the Filtration Leaves and the filtered product is discharged through a collection tube into which the leaves are attached. After filtration, HBV filters offer three options for discharging solids:

  • Dry System: pneumatic vibration system;
  • Wet system: system by washing with high-pressure nozzles;
  • Mixed System: A combination of the two systems.

This equipment operates completely closed, offering safety to the operators and the environment, and it can be fully automated. The HBV vertical pressure leaf filter is known for its high filtration efficiency, reliability, and durability. It is also highly adaptable, as the filter media can be easily altered to accommodate your different filtration needs. These factors make the HBV filter an excellent choice for a wide range of industrial applications, such as the filtration of vegetable oils, animal tallow, food, beverages, and chemical products. Another advantage of the vertical pressure leaf filter is its compact design, which makes it an attractive option for installations with space restrictions. The hermetic nature of the HBV filter decreases the cases of gas and liquid leakage, thus reducing the possibility of cross-contamination.

Hollbras offers HBV filters with filtration areas ranging from 1 m2 to 125 m2. For your greater safety and guarantee, all Hollbras projects are manufactured in accordance with ASME and NR13 standards.

All dimensions of this equipment are available on request.
